What Is BOTOX® Cosmetic?
BOTOX® Cosmetic is a doctor prescribed medication that is injected directly into muscles and used to enhance the appearance of moderate-to-severe frown lines among the eye-brows in people 18 to 65 years of age.
How does BOTOX® Cosmetic work?
Muscle contraction takes place as a result of nerve signaling. Botox works by preventing the release of a chemical call acetylcholine that signals muscles to contract.
